The founder of Manasi 7, Susanne Manasi, has over 20 years’ experience as a professional makeup artist and more than 6 years as a cosmetic product developer. Deeply committed to living a healthy life, Susanne is very strict with what she puts inside her body. She emphasizes eating natural foods from an evolutionary perspective to support gut health and places an emphasis on eating non-processed organic whole foods.

Eating consciously and leading a healthy lifestyle helps to keep your immune system strong and gut bacteria healthy. The important microbiome exists both in our gut and on our skin. With this knowledge, Susanne naturally developed a holistic mindset enabling her to live a fully conscious and healthy life.

The next step for Susanne was to fulfil her wish of building a considerate and sustainable approach to living her life and honouring the world around her. This came through her professional experience as a makeup artist. After a period of intense research, work and focus, Susanne created the brand she had been searching for, and Manasi 7 was born.

Manasi 7 was founded to offer the most sustainable way possible of using beauty items. Sustainable development processes and production cycles put an emphasis on minimizing the environmental footprint while creating timeless and multifunctional products.

Manasi 7 is beyond "clean and sustainable" as all the ingredients are natural, wild harvested, plant-based and certified organic, and when possible ingredients from 100% circular farming are used. Manasi 7 is not focused on mass-production. Instead, the products are produced in small batches to minimize waste and support small-scale farmers. The majority of the packagings are plant-based, reusable and/or recyclable.

To achieve the highest quality possible, we have created a manifesto which sets minimum requirements for the full production cycle when developing a product or working with the Manasi 7 brand. This is called the Declaration of (7).

The Declaration of (7) is the foundation of our business incorporating our values, our vision, our responsibilities and our core building blocks. The collection is designed and developed in Stockholm, Sweden by our professional makeupartist and founder and produced in Italy. We offer the best possible compositions of ingredients and shades that deliver a top-grade sensorial feeling, high pay-off and desired result. We want to work to bridge the gap between the great colour pay-off and high performance of conventional makeup products and the nourishing and healing properties of natural, wild harvested and certified organic ingredients by understanding for the good of both systems and show how they can work together to complement each other and create balance. Our carefully selected biodegradable formulas are organically decomposed back into earth. The ability to live and do things consciously, in health and in balance together with creativity is our main goal. We work exclusively with independent small-scale sub-contractors in our production cycles. Our high quality makeup formulas are a carefully selected blend of natural, wild harvested and certified organic butters, waxes and oils. We use raw materials and preservatives extracted from minerals, wild plants and flowers to harness the potency and natural effectiveness of their properties, quality, colour and scent.

A certified organic raw material, for example an organic oil, butter, wax, plant and flower, is a pure raw material grown in accordance with EU organic farming regulations. The raw material must also be produced in a manner approved by the organic certification, which requires high standards regarding production methods. An organic raw material is always 100% organic. The organic raw material is then used as an ingredient in our products. Our organic formulas contain a high percentage of certified organic ingredients. In the organic farming no toxic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or chemical fertilizers are to be used and genetically modified organisms are not allowed. Our certified organic ingredients are manufactured by environmentally friendly processes, quickly and easily biodegradable and easy to restore in the natural biological cycles. From the soil up, organic farming is better for us and the environment. It works with mother nature, not against it. Our ingredients are certified by Eco cert and they control farming, all relevant processes, the production site, management systems and external connections. Their on site evidence and accurate records are a very concrete way to verify that solid requirements are in place and they test their setting within an efficient management system.

The collection consists of carefully selected beauty products that are made in a slow pace and an environmentally friendly way from the beginning to the end of the production cycle. The products are highly concentrated and designed to last for a while. Made with high quality natural, wild harvested and certified organic ingredients in small batches we ensure premium quality. We work exclusively with independent small-scale sub-contractors, supporting the farms with circular and sustainable production as well as fair working conditions. Since each batch we produce is small we keep the quality intact and whenever we launch a new product it has to have a clear purpose in the collection.

Every natural ingredient is unique and depending on the time of the year the raw ingredients are harvested, you will get particular benefits. The ingredients are minimally processed and produced in low temperatures to preserve their moisturizing and nourishing properties. We use raw materials and preservatives extracted from minerals, wild plants and flowers to harness the potency and natural effectiveness of their properties, quality, colour and scent. Our production methods are environmentally friendly, respecting human health. The usage of natural resources are responsible and and emphasizes the preservation of biodiversity. We focus on low energy use, water preservation and lower waste as well as fair wages and fair working conditions.
